Nicole Anderson Ellis earned her MFA in creative writing from VCU. Her award-winning nonfiction has appeared in Virginia Living, Style Weekly, the Richmond Times Dispatch, and Virginia Business Magazine. She balances the private act of writing with energetic teaching, and has shared her passion with students of all ages at the California Academy of Sciences, Visual Arts Center of Richmond, Commonwealth Society, Children's Museum, and Maymont. She now teaches full-time at VCU.
